ROBIN’S SHOW RECOMMENDATION & TICKET GIVEAWAY: The Amazing Max
The Amazing Max and The Box of Interesting Things is a fun magic show for kids and adults with loads of audience interaction and laughs. Max is charming, witty and engaging, and has a good time with the kids as well as mystifying a crowd. At times, he brought Pee Wee Herman to mind (in a good way), and children in the audience couldn’t get enough of him. My son really enjoyed the show.

Max Darwin began charming audiences at the young age of 5 months, traveling all over the United States alongside his parents who were professional street performers specializing in clowning, mime, juggling, and magic. Since 2000, he has performed more than 3,000 magic shows, including attendance by such celebrities as Uma Thurman, Chazz Palminteri, William Baldwin, Diana Ross, Steven A. Cohen, Ethan Hawke, Jeremy Sisto, Tommy Hilfiger, and many more.
Max has studied tightrope with Phillipe Petit; Mime with Tony Montanaro; and Clowning with many master clowns including Fred Garbo and Bob Berky. He is also a classically trained actor, with a BFA in Theater from Purchase College. In 2003, Max was handpicked as the host of the hit Nickelodeon show GAME FARM! Max has also been a featured actor in many Off Broadway plays and numerous TV commercials for companies like Axe Body Spray, Verizon, Bank of America, and Coca Cola.
Max’s first instructional Magic DVD for kids “MAGIC IN MINUTES!” is now available.
