A Fond Farewell…by Liimu

Well, MotherhoodLater readers,

I have had a wonderful time sharing my life with you these past few years, but it’s time for me to go. I can’t believe how much has happened – I had ANOTHER baby (number four!) and chronicled the whole pregnancy here with you. I wish I could say I successfully chronicled the weight loss after the fact, but alas – that will take a little longer, apparently. One of the lesser joys of being a later mom, I suppose. But life with four children, a budding music career and a booming consulting business is incredibly exhausting and I have to make space where I can find it, which means I need to give up my regular spot here on MotherhoodLaterthanSooner.com. I have really loved blogging regularly, and so I plan to start up my own blog in the near future – all about being a mom AND pursuing your secret dreams at the same time, whether that’s to be a rock star, or a rock climber. I’ll be sure to let Robin know and maybe she’ll allow me to guest blog once I get it up and running.

In the meantime, I will definitely keep reading and commenting. There are so many wonderful things about being a later Mom – being more financially stable, less insecure, more patient, less emotionally unstable – but it’s by no means easy. We need all the support we can get, and I will definitely keep coming here to get some from all of you.
