A Link to a Touching Story by Sharon O’Donnell
Hi all! My first week and a half of working as a teaching assistant and writing instructor at an elementary school has gone well. I’ve enjoyed working one-on-one with fourth graders on their writing, and surprisingly have even found helping them with multiplication (double digit) rewarding. My mind goes back to when my own boys were learning these things, and I recall some of the methods through which I helped them. I’ve been super busy, so instead of writing a lot today, let me post this link to a touching story shared with me via a Facebook friend. It’s about a father with terminal cancer who walks each of his daughters down the aisle even though they are not yet getting married.
