Jamie Levine
After decades of serial dating, and never meeting Mr. Right, Jamie Levine decided it was time to do things backwards: Become a mother first and a wife second. She became a SMC (Single Mother by Choice) at the age of 37, when she gave birth to her beautiful daughter, Jayda, in May 2007. Life as a SMC certainly has its challenges, but choosing to become a mom was the best decision Jamie’s ever made.
An accomplished children’s book/gift buyer and online marketer, as well as freelance writer, Jamie recently took on another great challenge by returning to graduate school and securing a M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology with honors at the age of 43, and embarking upon a new career. She currently works for an agency providing early intervention services for children under the age of three, and intends to expand her scope of practice to school-age children in the next year.
