I have been invited to blog for Motherhood Later than Sooner, Wow!

This is exactly what I have been looking for.  Writing is my dream!  I am a 51 year old mom of two intelligent, amazing, children.  My son is my first born, and he is 20 years old.  My little darling daughter is 11 years younger than her brother and she is 9 years old.  My children are my world, and now that they are growing up and no longer need me as they did when they were little, I need something else in my life that brings me joy.

I have been married to a wonderful, understanding husband for 22 years.   He makes it possible for me to stay home, with our kids, my other dream.  He is a developer and builder in our area.  We have three cats, two guinea pigs, and a very big part of our family, (our other son!)  a handsome, large, German Shepherd, named Maximillion Diamond Loesch.  If you read my blog, you’ll likely hear more about Max.  

I live in the country in a dream house, that my husband built.  If it seems like my life is charmed,  it’s not!  I have found many of my dreams, however life still gives me hurdles and hoops to jump over and through.  With this blog, I hope to share the bits of wisdom that I have learned through the tough years that it took to get here.  Retirement…forget about it!  I have a 9 year old!
